An attractively terraced campsite in an elevated position enjoying stunning coastline views, including local beaches and Douarnenez bay. In the summer months, there are many colourful 'Pardons' - the folk festivals that are an important part of Breton village life. Visit Lacronan (30mins), a picture postcard medieval village where local craftsmen flourish in their workshops surrounding the square and Breton ladies wear their traditional lace headdresses. Be sure to take your camera!

Just a little further south is Quimper, the cathedral town that is the capital of Cornouaille, the district early immigrants named after their native Cornwall. In July it is the home of the Festival de Cornouaille, Brittany's biggest celebration of Breton culture, with concerts, street parades by Bretons in their 66 distinct "guises" (costumes) and street musicians.

On the local beach is a nautical centre, including a sailing school. Horseriding (6km) and hang-gliding are available in the local region, and for those wanting a lively nightlife, there is a discotheque just 2.5km away.

Just one hour from Roscoff, 2.5 hours from St Malo, 4 -5 hours from Cherbourg and Caen, Le Panoramic is well suited to self-drive, particularly for those not wanting to drive too far in France.

We offer Eurotunnel, cross channel ferries via Dover - Calais, Portsmouth - Caen / Cherbourg / Le Havre / St Malo, Poole - Cherbourg / St Malo, Plymouth - Roscoff, Newhaven - Dieppe.

If you need an overnight stop hotels are inexpensive, for example a family room for 4 in a B&B Hotel chain is approximately 55 euros.

Crossings to Roscoff are particularly convenient , just an hour drive to the site. The overnight sailing to St Malo is also popular, as are the early morning fastcraft crossings from Portsmouth to Cherbourg. Arriving in Cherbourg at 13:00 enables you to be on-site and in the pool by tea-time.

A damage deposit of EUR 300 is required on arrival. That's about 252.79GBP. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
